He Intends Victory Team: HIV/AIDS Ministry to Belize in May:

Pastor Bruce Sonnenberg, president of He Intends Victory and his wife will be joined by Galen and Joanie Yorba-Gray for a week of ministry specifically to the Spanish speaking communities in Orange Walk Town and San Pedro Town. Lighthouse Christian Radio is joining forces with the Spanish Evangelical Churches on Ambergris Caye to conduct a Seminar for the Body of Christ to be informed and equipped to effectively minister to those infected and affected with this pandemic disease in Belize, being number # 1 in Central America with those with HIV/AIDS.
The Seminar will be held in Orange Walk on Tuesday, May 15 and in San Pedro Town on Friday, May 18 with an Evangelistic Outreach following on May 19 on the Old Football Field. Please pray for God’s Spirit to draw many to salvation and the hope found only in a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

1 – 8 Jesse Flournoy, a brother from C.C. Saving Grace, short term mission trip.

10 – 14 Pastor Mike Lutz from Ocean Hills Church, speaker for the first
Amazing Grace Christian Fellowship Men’s Retreat.

14 – 20 He Intends Victory Team, Spanish Seminars in Orange Walk and San Pedro Town; Outreach, Prison, Radio & TV, schools and colleges.

20 – 27 Calvary of Albuquerque’s School of Ministry trip in Belmopan, Spanish Lookout and San Pedro.

25 – 29 Northwestern/KTIS Radio Broadcast Seminar for Radio & TV Stations.

Urgent Needs:

Financial support, something I really don’t like to mention, I’m on monthly support by friends and family and from that I receive a salary based on the support that comes in. I was told recently that my monthly support was very low and only a portion of my budgeted salary was available. Would you please pray and donate as the Lord directs you regarding monthly supporting me and the work He is doing in Belize? Thank you very much for co-laboring with me in the various capacities in Belize to declare His wonders without number.

- Rudy and family leaving for Canada this month; safe travels and provisions.
- Available servants to under-gird in various ministry capacities in the fellowship.
- Continual growth in grace and out flow of God’s love to the community.

Belize and Beyond Mission Update: April 2007

God continues to bless Amazing Grace Christian Fellowship, Spanish Lookout and the recent blessings has been the birth of four boys within the past 6 months! Rudy and Rachel’s son, Nathan, was the most recent born on March 20. Rejoice with us as we celebrate God’s gift of new lives with the happy parents and please pray for continual good health and wisdom as they groom the next generation of godly children.Rudy and Rachel are making preparations for their soon departure to Canada for a year in order to maintain their Canadian citizenship. As yet we do not have a replacement for Rudy and we continue to pray for God’s wisdom and provision in his absence. We’ve felt as if asking for a year commitment was perhaps too long for an interim pastor so we are now considering having asking for those who would be able to come down and assist anywhere from 6 weeks to a couple months or more. I will be working very closely with the person Lord provides and will be filling in the meantime. Please pray for this urgent need that God would provide just the right person, or persons for this exciting opportunity.

Last Tuesday, I met with three pastors as we began to make plans for the He Intends Victory (HIV/AIDS Ministry) visit to conduct a Spanish Pastors and Leaders Training Seminar and an Evangelistic Outreach in San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye in May. As many of you know, I have been involved with He Intends Victory for over 7 years and hosted them annually in Belize. The need has become apparent for our Spanish speaking brethren to be equipped in ministering to those with HIV/AIDS on the Island as it is one of the areas with a high percentage of those infected or affected with this deadly virus. I was blessed to see these pastors working toward in past ventures and they are excited to work together once again and joined forces with Lighthouse Christian Radio for this Outreach. Please pray for the planning of these events and for wisdom to reach as many as possible with the hope that is found only in Jesus Christ.

For the past year we have been broadcasting at only 325 watts of power, we are licensed for 500 because of corrosion of our last antenna. We have been planning with our brothers from GALCOM for a new antenna and a 70 ft. tower to enable us to reach into Belize City with our signal. The expertise and engineering will be done for us at no charge by GALCOM but we will need to provide airfare, accommodations and the cost of equipment. Would you prayerfully consider donating toward this needed area so we can reach the surrounding Islands and Belize City with the solid teaching of God’s Word?
